INTELLIGENCE: THE WINNING WEAPON OF MAN (9)
primum cognosco DEINDE Philosophie
E ' was this need-need to understand the world around him, together with that of solving problems as they were placing, without underestimating the need-the need to satisfy their curiosity so characteristic of the man of all ages, who have created what 'activities of thought, without which there can be no development, which allowed the accumulation of an enormous mass of knowledge, constantly raising the level of mental structure, has given to man in the modern era, the omnipotence which was attributed vaguely in the pre-logical.
And this claim will be aware of omnipotence in England in the seventeenth century, by Francis Bacon, although the means to achieve it will be developed by others.
The confusion of thought between the inner and outer world was a must for achieving the ability to give order to their experience and make a new synthesis that exceeds the first. During
concrete logic, the man is still attached to the natural world. Not to perceive it as more lively and with intent, but to perceive it as something separate from self, which begins to make some reflections to draw all the knowledge that will allow it to proceed further at the level of thought.
If in the previous phase had developed intuitive thinking, and in this he begins to develop the inference. With this new tool (intuition-deductive) interprets the world of reality and acquires the polluter pays principle ', which previously lacked.
Even the language suffers a greater specialization. Form more complex structures that enable him to express the new articulation of logical thought-concrete.
intuitive and deductive ability is a "free construction or at least spontaneous and direct intelligence" (Piaget, 1970: 43), which does not require any organization.
However, it was a must to get to CAPACITA'-ENABLE 'INDUCTIVE, which requires a knowledge of the organization of data to get from particular to the general, through abstraction.
But still tied to an abstraction of the real world, what Piaget called reflective abstraction. The formal thinking, formal abstraction, there will be only in the later stage, when no more work on a data or knowledge that comes from reality, but a hypothesis, a guess, an intuition that comes from the mass of knowledge we have acquired in the course of history, although not directly linked to it and very often in conflict with it.

INTELLIGENCE: THE WINNING WEAPON OF MAN (8)
MAN is realized in history
L'esperienza recente ha dimostrato che, quando l'uomo, che è in possesso di una struttura mentale logica formal, like that of modern man has attempted to integrate a high-PEOPLE PRE-PRIMITIVE LOGIC, whom he met on his journey, he made some mismatches PSYCHOLOGICALLY and destroyed them, making them lose their identity.
The development of mental structures, phylogenetic level, can not be shortened. It is closely related to the mass of information the brain must develop body, and its degree of specialization.
the pre-logical level, the degree of specialization is very low. The mass of information that must process is small (Lindberg, 1935). neither would be able to process more.
To do so would need more specialization, and this can only be achieved gradually through the development of new and more advanced knowledge derived from experience (his and / or previous generations) - the one and only source of knowledge acquisition (Newell-Shaw-Simon, 1958).
E 'this progressive specialization that will lead man to the last stage (so far) of his mental development as a program of Knowledge. Hence the four epochs
TEACHING man: the truth 'Intuition, that of Truth' reveals, that of Truth 'discovery and - this last stage - that of Truth' BUILDING.
But even within the same level of structure mental leaps are not possible or abbreviations. The intuition precede DEDUCTIVE, and these, in turn, precede the inductive and the latter, prior to the experimental ones.
Reverse the order of the factors in this case, the product changes. Like skipping a change. The man began his story (sensorimotor phase) acquiring the ability to organize his feelings and perceptual coordinate its movements (Kohler, 1957).
The acquisition of these basic abilities, that made it off forever from the branch of his cousins, monkeys, he did enter the second phase (the pre-logical or pre-operational) of his mental development, in which he " gives himself the omnipotence "(Freud, 1970: 130).
At this stage he knows" how the world is made, [knows] the way it [feels] himself that "(Freud, 1970: 134) : with life and intentionality.
"Initially, any living object that has an activity, this being essentially related to the usefulness of man ... Then life is reserved for furniture, and then the bodies that seem to have momentum just like the stars and the winds.
"is reconnected to life, on the other hand, the consciousness, a consciousness identical to that of man, but the minimum of consciousness and intentionality to things necessary to carry out their actions e soprattutto per muoversi e dirigersi verso le mete loro assegnate (finalismo)...

In the individual
crises are provoked, and resolved, or a particularly favorable environment or education, or both.
Every crisis is a prerequisite for the next level of mental structure, which includes and incorporates the previous levels, but is qualitatively different.
previous preparatory levels of subsequent levels (Rey, 1930-48, I: VII). Without the first you can not have seconds. "Every level of mental structure, integrating the previous ones, unable to leave, in part, the individual from his past and to initiate new activities" (Piaget-Inhelder, 1969: 150).
Everyone can reach, theoretically, all levels of mental structure that man has developed in the phylogeny to that particular historical epoch. Theoretically, because we saw that not all individuals can achieve the same levels.
Some stay at lower levels, others - but still at higher levels - you can not abide. Only a minority will achieve stability.
This depends on many factors. The socio-economic and cultural. The political system. The education system, and, last but not least, the potential neurological (Imhelder-Piaget, 1958: 150).
The level of structure depends on the mental skills. Each level represents the culmination of what has been prepared in the previous levels.
In the early levels you acquire those skills-skills that make possible a new, different and more complete data organization of knowledge.
And this was the process through which brought about the development of levels of mental structure.
