Luigi Siniscalchi : "The drawings date back mostly when I was about 15/16. I tried to imitate those who were my idols, Magnus, Buscema, and later Mandrafina Corben, Carlos Jimenez and Font. The natural history were merely a pretext to draw something difficult, and there was nothing original in the ideas that I came to the subject and I was absolutely conscious of this thing ... my primary intent was to experiment and use a brush and pen, as I could do (in the pages of comic books) from my teachers unattainable. Neither more nor less than they do today when I face my work ... maybe just a study some more for what I'm required by the script. "
